TRIFED Regional Office, Guwahati successfully organized the Tribal Artisans Empanelment Mela (TAEM) today as part of the ongoing exhibitions at Bodoland University. The event witnessed the participation of 17 tribal artisans, showcasing a vibrant array of indigenous craftsmanship. A total of 50 unique product samples were procured and tagged during the Mela for further evaluation and promotion.

On 15th November 2025, TRIFED Regional Office (North) participated in the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas 2025 celebrations held at Mendhar, District Poonch, Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir, by setting up a vibrant Tribes India exhibition stall.

A state-level celebration of Janjatiya Gaurav Divas was held in Dungarpur, Rajasthan, highlighting the rich cultural heritage and contributions of tribal communities. The TRIFED Regional Office, Rajasthan actively participated by setting up an exhibition stall showcasing tribal products and initiatives.

TRIFED RO (North) showcased tribal heritage at the National Tribal Festival 2025 in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh, with a vibrant Tribes India stall visited by the Hon’ble Tribal Development Minister.

At NCCSR-2025 in New Delhi, TRIFED Managing Director delivered the keynote, showcasing initiatives like e-commerce, R&D, and MOUs to boost entrepreneurship, value addition, and market access for tribal artisans nationwide.

Hon’ble MoS for Tribal Affairs, Shri Durga Das Uikey, along with Shri Ramvichar Netam, Hon’ble Minister, Dept. of Tribal & Scheduled Caste, Govt. of Chhattisgarh, and Shri Hirdesh Kumar IAS, MD, TRIFED, inspired participants at the State Process Lab in Raipur under the #AdiKarmayogi Abhiyan.
Their words motivated District Master Trainers to strengthen participatory governance & drive tribal empowerment at the grassroots.

TRIFED Regional Office (North) actively participated in the two-day National Tribal Festival held at Gurez Valley, Bandipora, from 6th to 7th August 2025. The event featured empanelled tribal Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and individual tribal artisans, who showcased their craftsmanship and indigenous products, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the region.

Regional Office AP & Telangana organized an awareness session of TRIFED schemes on the occasion of Janjatiya Gaurav Varsh at BHEL, Hyderabad. 

In a strategic collaboration with Western Railway,  RO Maharashtra team has successfully secured complimentary promotional support for the upcoming Adi Chitra campaign. The Railway Department has initiated free publicity across Mumbai’s major stations via digital LED screens at self-ticket counters, platforms, and other public-facing displays — giving Adi Chitra extensive visibility at zero cost.

TRIFED Regional Office, West Bengal has started a tribal artisan exhibition at 3A Mandeville Garden, Gariahat, Kolkata, running from 16th July to 31st July 2025. The event showcases a diverse range of handcrafted products by tribal artisans, promoting indigenous art and culture while supporting livelihoods through direct market access.
