With a view to popularise indigenous tribal products at both national and international levels, TRIFED is in close association with ASSOCHAM, one of the apex trade organisations in the country. Promoting trade of a vast pool of high quality handicrafts and handloom products is the main objective of this association. 


In tandem with ASSOCHAM, TRIFED can invite foreign buyers for Reverse Buyer Seller Meets (RBSM) where the focus can be placed on selective tribal products to be sold globally. At a recent workshop held at TRIBES India outlet in New Delhi, ASSOCHAM reiterated that there is a huge scope for international sales of both organic food (naturals) items and tribal clothing. While these two categories have already been identified, other products are also being shortlisted.
