On 15th November 2025, TRIFED Regional Office (North) participated in the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas 2025 celebrations held at Syed Memorial Hall, Kargil, in the Union Territory of Ladakh. A Tribes India exhibition stall was set up to showcase tribal products and promote indigenous entrepreneurship.

The event was organized by the District Social and Tribal Welfare Office, Kargil, in collaboration with the Tribal Research Institute (TRI), University of Ladakh, to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda. The occasion was graced by the presence of Mr. Mohmd Haneefa Jan, Member of Parliament, Ladakh, who appreciated the efforts made towards tribal empowerment and cultural promotion.
