MD, TRIFED reviewed the launch of “Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan” across 32 districts via VC, visited tribal areas in Dhamtari to inspect PM-JANMAN works, interacted with PVTGs and VDVK units, and assessed scheme implementation.

Hon'ble Chairman, TRIFED visited Siladon Vandhan Clusters and interacted directly with the beneficiaries of 15 Van Dhan SHGs Kendra's. Hon'ble Chairman Sir very happy to see the Value Added Van Dhan Products at VDCs and also briefed to media towards the progress of this Van Dhan Clusters n Kendra's. Hon'ble Chairman Sir joined lunch (TRIFOOD) with the beneficiaries of Van Dhan Clusters. Hon'ble Chairman Sir express his gratitude and wish for more Success in future. He also assured for every support to this Model Van Dhan Clusters from TRIFED in future.

The TRIFOOD project is being implemented by #TRIFED, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India in association with Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Government of India with the assistance of District Administration. #TRIFOOD aims to enhance the income of tribals through better utilization of and value addition to the MFPs collected by the tribal forest gatherers. To achieve this, as a start, a TRIFOOD facility will soon be operational at Jagdalpur, Chattisgarh.
